Alain Locke’s future first-responders are ready for action!
On Friday, 35 of our sixth through eighth grade All-Stars saw their dreams of becoming EMTs or firefighters become closer to reality thanks to a valuable hands-on learning experience with the Black Fire Brigade!
They explored the rich history of firefighting at the Black Fire Brigade museum, learned essential EMT skills like CPR, and were inspired by the incredible nonprofit organization that’s making a real difference by training and empowering Black young people to serve their communities and even save lives.
