On Friday, the Alain Locke Attendance Committee had a wonderful time going around our classrooms to celebrate our All-Stars who have had perfect attendance at school over the past six weeks.
As part of the “Perfect Attendance Challenge,” students strived to have perfect, on-time attendance every day between Monday, October 7 and Thursday, November 14. In total, nearly 60 All-Stars across all grade levels were celebrated for this incredible feat!
After all of that hard work, our all-Stars’ accomplishments definitely won’t go unrewarded. On Monday, they’ll enjoy a cozy dress down day at school — perhaps in flannel, considering the temperature as of late!
And that’s not all: they’ve also been entered to win one of more than 20 Thanksgiving baskets for the big holiday later this month — all of which are filled with turkey and all the tasty trimmings!
