Alain Locke fifth- through eighth-graders put on a fantastic show at our African-American History Program.
The theme of the event was “Strong Roots, Amazing Achievements!” and allowed for students to showcase African-American history in three distinct areas:
- African-American inventors
- the black rodeo
- historically black colleges
The African-American History Program also featured performances from the Alain Locke choir and band. Check out the photos from the day below.
