All-Stars Make Us Proud at a Chicago Metro History Day for the Books

Two of our very impressive Alain Locke All-Stars were honored for their amazing work at a recent local history fair that will surely be remembered for some time to come.

First off, Alyssa R. made us proud by qualifying to represent Alain Locke at the upcoming Illinois History Day Contest after her project entitled, “Kids Are Expensive, Birth Control Can Help,” was so well-received at the Chicago History Museum’s Chicago Metro History Day.

And that’s not all. Gabby S. was also presented with the CPAA History Day Award for her Women’s History Month paper entitled, “Coco Chanel and Her Impact on Women’s History.”

Stay tuned for the results from the Illinois History Day Contest on Saturday, April 22!
