All-Stars Celebrate Black Athletes Through History

On the last day of Black History Month this year, our All-Stars celebrated famous Black athletes and their historical accomplishments.

Some of the All-Stars chose to talk about track and field. From Jesse Owens, “perhaps the greatest and most famous athlete in track and field history,” to Mack Robinson, known for winning a silver medal in the 1936 Summer Olympics (and the older brother of Baseball Hall of Fame member Jackie Robinson), to Sha’Carri Richardson, the fourth-fastest American woman in history, they demonstrated great achievements through the decades.

Some other highlights included a re-enactment of a boxing match with Muhammad Ali, marching bands to cheer on the athletes, bits about the Bears and Bulls, dancing and more.

All in all it was a fun and active way to wrap up our Black History Month celebrations.
