Our seventh and eighth grade All-Stars hit the road last Friday for a very special trip to Springfield.
While touring our state’s capital city, our All-Stars had the opportunity to visit the Illinois State Capitol, Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site, the Lincoln Home National Historic Site, and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
We’d like to say a very special thank you to Mrs. Baran, our seventh and eighth grade social studies instructor, for organizing the trip, as well as all of our chaperones from the middle school team who helped make the day possible.
