A passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) puts students front and center in a fast-paced learning environment in which seemingly anything is possible. That’s just what our All-Stars explored last week!
On Friday, our seventh- and eighth-graders participated in a STEM workshop hosted by by Project SYNCERE. The workshop, which our higher education and career counselor Ms. Harrell organized, included hands-on activities such as working with circuit boards and building mini-robots.
Project SYNCERE, which was founded in 2008 by three Black men with backgrounds in the corporate world, is a truly fantastic organization that was created to help promote a love of STEM among students from under-resourced communities. We’re so grateful for their work with our All-Stars!
