• Acceptance of audit report for 2024-2025 as presented by Crowe
• Change in the Alain Locke registered agent from Claire Hartfield to Catherine Burns

DISCUSSION

1. Bylaws Amendment (Catherine Burns)

• Action Item: Move to adjust the board member requirement in Section 5.2. Number and
  Qualifications to the following: The number of directors of the Corporation shall be not less than six nor more than eleven.

2. Principal Report (Patrick Love)

• FY27 Budget (Judy McGarvey & Patrick Love)
• Enrollment (Nora Ligurotis & Patrick Love)
• Action Item: Move to approve the FY27 budget as presented by Judy McGarvey.

3. Higher Education and High School Scholarships for SY27 (Vonyell Foster)

4. Reminders

• Graduation: June 1, 2026 @ 10am; DuSable Museum
• Next Board Meeting: June 22, 2026, 4:30pm-6:00pm – Alain Locke
  • Catherine Burns will not be in attendance – appoint a meeting chair or
    reschedule the meeting
  • Catherine Burns will email out the SY27 Board meeting dates in June after the
    last meeting.
