Last Thursday, our seventh grade All-Stars headed downstate for an action-packed field trip to our state’s capital city.
This special outing to Springfield included visits to everywhere from the Illinois State Capitol and the Lincoln Tomb to the Lincoln Home National Historic Site and Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site. What an exciting and educational adventure this was for our All-Stars!
We’d like to thank Mrs. Baran, our grades 6-8 social studies instructor, for organizing this awesome field trip. Special thanks, also, to our parent chaperons who helped make the day a success!
