When it comes to a world-class education, sometimes there’s nothing more valuable than getting out into the real world for some hands-on learning. That’s exactly what our fifth and sixth grade All-Stars did on their recent science field trip to Fermilab!
Located in west suburban Batavia, Fermilab is one of the world’s leading physics institutions. During their visit, All-Stars participated in several engaging activities, including collecting abiotic data such as soil, air temperature, and humidity in a woodland area, completing scientific lab work focused on plants and animals found at Fermilab, and exploring pond ecosystems by collecting and identifying living organisms in the water.
We’re proud of our All-Stars for their curiosity, participation, and commitment to learning all about the world around us through this immersive educational experience!
