All-Stars to Grow Their Love for Reading Thanks to Bernie’s Book Bank

There really is nothing better than enjoying a good book, is there? We’re so glad our All-Stars will now have the opportunity to dive into their new and, we hope, soon-to-be-favorite books.

That’s because our kindergarten through sixth grade All-Stars received a whole new batch of books that they can keep on their shelves at home compliments of Bernie’s Book Bank this week. We’ve been lucky enough to be in partnership with the Lake Bluff-based nonprofit organization since 2013, and they bring new books to our All-Stars three times per year.

Founded by Brian Floriani in 2009, Bernie’s Book Bank was established to help expand book ownership among children in Chicagoland. The organization delivered a truly remarkable 2.3 million books to children in 2022 alone. Thank you for all you do to help more local children discover the joy of reading, Bernie’s Book Bank!

Check out the photos below to see just how excited our All-Stars were to take home their new books this week.
