Parents as Partners

Parents are involved members of the Alain Locke community.  They are their children’s first teachers and role models and continue to play a key role in their children’s education throughout the school years.  At Alain Locke, we ask our parents to join us in our commitment to model absolute excellence – by helping with homework, volunteering in the classroom, attending special events, and working collaboratively with teachers.

Our parent advisory committee works with us to maximize the benefits of the parent-school partnership.  We know that a family does best when both children and parents are reaching their educational goals.  To that end, we provide a broad range of free adult and parenting instruction.
